GROUND ALMOND CAKE image

Yield Makes 12 one-inch slices

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 pinch of salt
grated lemon peel
1 c. cream
1 c. finely ground almonds*
1 c. flour
1-l/2 t. baking powder

Steps:

  • Cream together sugar, eggs, finely grated lemon peel and salt. Incorporate cream, almonds, cream and baking powder. Pour into a well-greased and floured 12" loaf pan and back at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
