GRILLED TUNA STEAKS image

Yield 4-6 people

Number Of Ingredients 5

4 6oz. Tuna steaks (frozen ok)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 cup finey chopped nuts (any)
1 Tablespoon each dried oregano,basil, and parsley
Salt and Pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Lightly oil the steaks. Sprinkle evenly with the herbs and salt/pepper. Press into the surface of the fish. Turn over and repete on the second side. Cover liberally with chopped nuts (I prefer pistaccios)and again press into the flesh. Heat grill to medium hot. Grill nutty side down for 3 minutes. Turn and repete. Remove from heat and allow fish to stand 5 minutes. Slice into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices and serve over your favorite pasta. Optional drizzle with fresh squeezed citrus juice for a taste that will take you straight to Siciy
