Grilled Mexiburgers image

Old El Paso® salsa and cheese provide a delicious topping to these grilled beef burgers that's ready in 20 minutes. Perfect for a Mexican dinner. Servings # 4

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 lb. ground beef
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon onion salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
4 burger buns, split
4 (1-oz.) slices colby-Monterey Jack cheese blend
1/4 cup Old El Paso® Thick 'n Chunky salsa
Sliced jalapeno chiles, if desired

Steps:

  • GRILL DIRECTIONS: Heat grill. In medium bowl, combine all burger ingredients except buns; mix well. Shape mixture into 4 patties.
  • When ready to grill, place patties on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals; cover grill. Cook 10 to 12 minutes or until burgers are no longer pink in center, turning once.
  • To serve, place 1 cheese slice on each burger. Place burgers on bottom halves of buns. Top with salsa, sliced chiles and top halves of buns.
