Greek Yogurt Frosting image

Replace vanilla with lemon zest, almond flavoring, or rum flavoring to suit the cake you're frosting. Regular yogurt, strained for several hours through a cheesecloth, may also be used.

1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Whisk all ingredients until they blend and thicken slightly.
  • Chill at least 30 minutes.
  • Spread on cupcakes or cake.
  • Keep away from heat or sun, since it melts easily.
