Grape Salad image

My friends and I have get togethers often. I should have plenty of pictures of this, but I dont. I will be sure to post one this weekend. It's light and delish. Good as an appetizer or for light snacking. Also done this recipe for work functions. Goes over well in either setting. Not sure of origination - handed down to me...

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 lb fresh green seedless grapes
2 lb fresh red seedless grapes
8 oz sour cream
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 c granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
TOPPING
1 c brown sugar, packed to taste
1 c crushed pecans

Steps:

  • 1. Wash and stem grapes. Set aside and allow to dry.
  • 2. Mix sour cream, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until blended well.
  • 3. Stir grapes into mixture. Pour into large serving bowl.
  • 4. TOPPING - Combine brown sugar and crushed pecans, sprinkle over top of grapes to cover completely. Allow dish to chill overnight.
