Grandma's German Apple Cake image

My Grandma's own Recipe!!

Number Of Ingredients 11

3 - large egg's
1 1/2 cup(s) salad oil
3 cup(s) sugar
3/4 teaspoon(s) salt
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking soda
1 1/2 tablespoon(s) water
3 teaspoon(s) cinnamon, ground
3 1/2 cup(s) all purpose flour
6 cup(s) cubed apples
1 1/2 cup(s) nuts

Steps:

  • Beat egg's & Salad oil, vanilla, water together until foamy. Mix all Dry ingredients with nuts & apples. Then add egg, oil & vanilla, water mix to dry ingredients. Batter will be very stiff.
  • Bake in greased tube pan, 350 degree oven for 90 min, or till done... Very good plain or with cream cheese frosting!
