Grandma's Baked Beans image

This is my Grandma's recipe. These magically disappear everywhere I have brought them. It has a "different" flavor than other baked beans recipes.

Time 55m

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 can(s) (15 oz each) pork and beans
1 can(s) tomato paste (the small can)
2/3 c brown sugar
several slice uncooked bacon

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375.
  • 2. In an oven safe bowl, mix both cans pork and beans, tomato paste, and brown sugar. Stir until all ingredients are mixed well.
  • 3. Lay strips of uncooked bacon over the top of the baked beans.
  • 4. Bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes, or until the bacon on the top is cooked. Grandma used to always say that you know when the beans are ready because the bacon on top is cooked.
