NEW YORK ITALIAN CHEESECAKE BY FRANCES image

Yield 8-12 slices

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 8oz pkg. and 1 3oz of cream cheese
1 pt sour cream
1 lb. ricotta
1 ½ cups sugar
3 tbls. flour
3 tbls cornstarch
1 ½ tbls. Vanilla
3 tbls lemon juice
4 eggs (one at a time)
1 stick butter or melted margarine

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°. Soften cream cheese and blend cream cheese and sugar. Add all other ingredients. When all blended, butter a 10" spring form pan. Pour batter in pan. Place on middle oven rack and bake for one hour. Shut oven off and leave in closed oven for one more hour. Take out and cool. Place in refrigerator while still in pan. Do not remove sides until ready to serve. Upon serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
