GRANDMA WEETIE'S PECAN PIE image

Number Of Ingredients 7

3 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup light Karo syrup (few grains of salt)
1 cup pecans
1 Pillsbury refrigerated pastry dough

Steps:

  • Cream butter and sugar and add syrup, well beaten eggs, salt and vanilla. Put chopped or whole pecans in bottom of pie pan lined with uncooked pie dough (poke a few holes in the bottom). Pour mixture over pecans. Bake at 350 degrees in middle of oven for one hour. (You may use 1 cup white sugar and 1 cup dark Karo syrup instead.)
