I have no clue with this one. We don't have a Grandma Annie in the family, but this recipe was in Mom's recipe file, so I have to add it. LOL!

Steps:
- Chop bacon (see note), & cook. Add onion to bacon & drippings, cook just until soft, not crisp. Add flour to bacon/onion mixture, mix. Add water in, stir. Add vinegar & sugar, continue cooking over low heat. Add salt, pepper & parsley, mix well. Add sliced potatoes, heat until warmed. Serve warm.
- NOTE: To easily chop bacon raw.... Put what you need (amount) in freezer until stiff. Can easily chop up without being greasy.
