Grammie's Cranberry Salad image

My Grammie (Roberta Campbell) made this every Thanksgiving and Christmas and the family just loved it. It is a really easy recipe to make with only 5 ingredients. Number Of Ingredients 6

1 can(s) whole berry cranberry sauce
1 large box of jello (raspberry or strawberry)
1 c nuts, chopped (gram mostly used walnuts)
1 c celery, sliced
1 c drained & crushed pineapple
3 c water

Steps:

  • 1. Smash your whole cranberries up in a 3 quart sauce pan. Then, add your 3 cups water and jello then heat to boiling. Remove from stove and let it begin to set.
  • 2. Once it starts to gel then add remaining ingredients of celery, nuts and pineapple.
  • 3. Return to refrigerator and then serve it in a festive bowl.
