This recipe I made up myself. It taste great on a cold day or if you feel a little under the weather. Add cooked shrimp, lobster, crab, noodles, or rice and make it a meal. My husband loves this soup as well as a good friend of mine.Just spicy enough without too much heat. Also don't throw away the chunks after straining the soup...

Steps:
- 1. Put all ingredients in stock pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and simmer 1 to 2 hours stirring occasionally. Strain through a fine mesh strainer. Top with chopped cilantro just before serving. Remember save the chunks and puree them or leave them chunky and use as a pasta sauce
