Gouda Muffins image

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 large eggs, room temperature
1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup butter, melted
6 ounces Gouda cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda. In another bowl, combine the eggs, yogurt and butter. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in cheese., Fill well-greased muffin cups three-fourths full. Bake at 400° for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. Serve warm. Refrigerate leftovers.
