1 cup chopped green peppers
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 cup quick-cooking grits, cooked as directed on package
1-1/4 cups KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, divided
2 eggs

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Cook and stir peppers and onions in nonstick skillet on medium heat 5 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Place in medium bowl. Add cooked grits, 3/4 cup cheese; stir until blended. Add eggs; mix well.
  • Pour into 8-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Bake 30 min. or until center is set. Let stand 10 min. before serving.
