Steps:
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Add turmeric and ginger and cook for a few seconds or until you can smell the toasted turmeric.
- Add onions and stir to coat. Cook for about three minutes.
- Add the peas, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Stir to coat. Cover and cook for about eight minutes or until tender. Stir occasionally.
- Add rice and stir to mix thoroughly. Heat through.
