GOLDEN BROWNIES image

Yield 16 Brownies

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups self-rising flour
2 cups chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Line a 13"x9"x2" baking pan with foil; grease the foil. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Beat in eggs and vanilla until combined. Add flour; mix well. Fold in pecans. Pour into a prepared pan. Bake at 325 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Using foil, lift brownies out of pan. Remove foil.
