Golden Apple Oatmeal image

A lovely breakfast of fresh apple and oats. Such tasty and healthy way to meet the day. The amount will easily double.

1/2 cup(s) diced golden delicious apple
1/3 cup(s) apple juice
1/3 cup(s) water
1/8 teaspoon(s) salt (optional)
1/4 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
1/3 cup(s) old fashioned oats, uncooked
- brown sugar (optional)
- milk (optional)

Steps:

  • Combine apples, juice, water, and spices, bring to boil.
  • Stir in rolled oats and cook till oats are cooked (about 7 mins).
  • Serve with brown sugar and milk on the side if desired.
