Glazed Pecans image

This make a perfect snack during the holidays. Makes a great gift too!

Categories     Nuts

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 c sugar
3/4 c milk
1 dash(es) salt
1 Tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
4 c pecan halves

Steps:

  • 1. Mix sugar, milk, and butter in a sauce pan. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens.
  • 2. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
  • 3. Stir in pecans.
  • 4. Turn out on pan or wax paper to cool. Separate the pecans so they don't stick together while they dry.
  • 5. Seal in an air-tight container.
