GINGERBREAD SQUARES image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 &1/2 cups Flour
1 cup Sugar
2 tsp. Ginger
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 cup Butter, softened
1 Egg
3 T. Molasses
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 cup Buttermilk

Steps:

  • 1. Combine flour, sugar, spices. Cut in butter. 2. Reserve 1/4 cup of flour mixture for topping. To remaining mix, add egg & molasses. 3. Dissolve baking soda and salt in buttermilk. 3. Add milk to flour mixture.
