GINGER-SESAME ASPARAGUS image

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 Tbs. hoisin sause
1 Tbs. rice wine/sherry
2 tsp. sesame oil
1 Tbs. peanut oil
1 Tbs. sesame seeds
2 tsp. each ginger & garlic
1 bunch asparagus-roll cut, par-boiled and dried
sliced scallions (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Whisk together hoisin, rice wine & sesame oil, set aside. 2.Heat oil on high heat in wok, saute sesame seeds, ginger and garlic for 30 seconds. 3.Add sauce mixture and stir to combine. Add asparagus, and stir-fry until fully warmed and glazed. 4. Serve warm or at room temperature, with optional scallion garnish.
