Steps:
- In a soup pot, cook the bacon until lightly browned. Do not drain fat. Stir in the onions and saute for 2 minutes. Add the flour, stirring until well blended and evenly cooked 2-3 minutes. At this point you will say.."What the heck is this crap"...just stir. Remove from heat and gently simmer 10-15 minutes until potatoes are tender..( I d it 10 mins.) Add vinegar and mix well. Let simmer two minutes. Add half and half abd cook stirring, until soup comes to a simmer...serve with garnishes.
