Steps:
- Alternate layers of cabbage and onions in a salad bowl. Sprinkle with sugar.
- In a saucepan, combine vinegar, oil, mustard, 1 teaspoon sugar and salt. Heat to boiling.
- Pour over slaw and refridgerate for at least 4 hours. Keeps for a week or more. You may add more cabbage as necessary.
