German Chocolate Brownies | Cake Mix Brownies image

German Chocolate Brownies are a simple and easy way to get that German Chocolate Cake fix! Made with boxed cake mix, pecans, and coconut.

Number Of Ingredients 13

15 ounce box chocolate cake mix ((I like Devil's Food cake mix))
½ cup canola or vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup half and half ((can substitute evaporated milk))
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup butter ((half a stick))
2 large egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup shredded sweetened coconut
½ cup chopped pecans
½ cup milk chocolate chips ((optional but recommeded) )
