Garlic Sautéed Asparagus recipe image

Everyone loves my Garlic Green Beans recipe so much that I had to make a variation using asparagus! Garlic Sautéed Asparagus recipe is a quick and easy side dish that's full of fantastic flavor!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 Tablespoon olive oil
2 Tablespoons salted butter
3-5 cloves garlic, (minced or pressed)
1 bunch asparagus, (cleaned and trimmed)
Kosher salt, (to taste)
Ground black pepper, (to taste)
2-3 Tablespoons fresh parsley, (chopped)

Steps:

  • Heat oil and melt butter in a large saute pan over medium high heat.
  • Add garlic and saute for 1 minute, stirring often.
  • Add asparagus and reduce heat to medium. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Saute for 10-15 minutes stirring periodically until the asparagus softens but isn't soggy (cooking times will vary based on the thickness of the asparagus).
  • Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Top with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
