Garlic Crouton Slices image

Crunchy and good with a variety of dishes, especially Vidalia® onion soup.

3 tablespoons olive oil
1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 French baguette, cut into 1-inch thick slices

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Stir olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper together in a large mixing bowl; add bread slices and toss to coat. Arrange bread onto prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake until crispy and no longer soft, about 8 minutes.
