Garlic Cheese Toast image

An easy way to prepare cheesy garlic toast. We serve alongside spaghetti, mostly.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 loaf french bread, sliced thick (i have also used texas toast)
8 oz butter, softened
8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 c romano cheese (from the shaker can))
1/4-1/2 tsp garlic powder

Steps:

  • 1. Mix together the softened butter, cheeses and garlic powder. Spread on thick slices of bread. Place under the broiler until the cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
