FRUIT CRISP image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 c brown sugar
1 c flour
3/4 c quick cooking rolled oats
1/2 c melted butter
1 tsp cinnamon
4 c desired fruit
1 c sugar
2 T cornstarch
1 c water
1 tsp vanilla

Steps:

  • Combine the first five ingredients in a bowl until crumbly. Press half into bottom of buttered 8" square dish. Top with fruit. Combine the last four ingredients in a saucepan (run the cornstarch through a sifter so it does not clump), cook until thick and clear, pour over fruit. Top with remaining crumble. 350 x 45 - 55 min.
