FRUIT BAR SUGAR COOKIES image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
2 cups flour
1 12 oz. jar apricot or raspberry preserves
1 cup chopped pecans
Easier to spread if dough quantity is doubled.

Steps:

  • Mix first four ingredients and spread 2/3 of dough in a greased, floured 9x13 pan. Spread preserves on top and don't put them all the way to the edge. Sprinkle pecans over top and crumble rest of dough over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until edges and top begin to lightly brown.
