Frosted Pineapple Cake image

2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 eggs
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • In bowl combine cake ingredients; mix well.
  • Pour into greased 9x13 inch pan.
  • Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 40-45 minutes.
  • Cool completely.
  • For frosting, in mixing bowl combine frosting ingredients; beat until smooth.
  • Frost cake.
