FROSTED BANANA BARS image

Yield 3 dozen

Number Of Ingredients 2

1/2 c butter
soft 2 c sugar 3 eggs 3 med mashed ripe bananas 1 tsp vanilla 2 c flour 1 tsp baking soda pinch of salt FROSTING: 1/2 c soft butter 1 8oz pkg soft cream cheese 4 c confectioners sugar 2 tsp vanilla extract

Steps:

  • In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs, bananas, and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt and add to creamed mixture and mix well. Pour into a greased 15x10x1 bar pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or till done. Coll and frost. FOR FROSTING: cream butter and cream cheese in a bowl. Gradually add confectioners sugar and vanilla. Beat well. Spread over bars.
