Fresh Peach Pound Cake image

This is a must at our July 4 th picnic. I have been making this cake for over 10 years and is the family favorite of all my cakes. Of this big cake I never have left overs.

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 1/2 cup(s) oil
2 cup(s) sugar
3 - eggs
2 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
3 cup(s) self-rising flour
3 cup(s) finely chopped fresh yellow peaches
1 cup(s) chopped nuts (walnut or pecan )
1 cup(s) coconut
1 - 3oz cream cheese
5 teaspoon(s) peach juice puree
1 1/2 cup(s) powered sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first 8 ingredients in order. Pour into greased tube pan. Bake 1 hour. Cool 10 minutes in pan. Place on cooling rack to cool completely.
  • Mix last 3 ingredients well and spoon over cake when cooled.
