1 cup fresh mint
4 cups boiling water
Sugar to taste
Ice cubes
Lemon or lime slices and additional mint, optional

Steps:

  • Place mint in a large bowl; pour water over mint; let stand for 2 hours. , Strain mint mixture; discard mint. Fill chilled glasses with ice; add mint mixture and sugar. Garnish with lemon or lime slices and mint if desired.
