Freezer Sweet Pickles image

I like this recipe because you don't have to worry about canning procedures, just pack and freeze. How easy is that?

Number Of Ingredients 7

8 c sliced cucumbers
1 c sliced green peppers
1 c sliced onion
2 tsp salt
1 tsp celery seed
2 c sugar
1 c white vinegar

Steps:

  • 1. Heat until dissolved: salt,sugar,vinegar. Add celery seed
  • 2. Combine cucumbers, green pepper and onions in a bowl
  • 3. Pour brine over cucumber mixture. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • 4. Next day: Distribute into one cup plastic freezer containers. Dividing brine evenly among containers. Freeze. Enjoy!!
