FLANK STEAK WITH GARLIC, OREGANO, CUMIN image

1/4 cup orange juice
2 tbsp olive oil
2 fat garlic cloves
1 tbsp fresh oregano
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp grated orange zest
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 flank steak (1/2 lb)

Steps:

  • 1. In a blender, combine orange juice, olive oil, garlic cloves, oregano, cumin, salt, orange zest and pepper - blend until smooth. Pour over flank steak and let sit, uncovered at room temperature, while you preheat grill. You can cover and refrigerate over night. 2. Brush off any excess marinade solids and grill over high heat, turning once, until done (3 min per side). Slice in thin slices across the grain to serve.
