Flank Steak w Rosemary & Thyme image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 1/2 pounds Flank steak
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
3 tablespoons grapeseed oil - divided
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons kosher salt
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
6 garlic cloves- grated
1 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups Rosemary and/or thyme

Steps:

  • Place steak in a gallon ziplock bag
  • Combine vinegar, 2 Tbsp oil, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, brown sugar, garlic, and pepper in a bowl, and whisk until salt and sugar are dissolved. Pour marinade over steak.
  • Marinate steak a min of 2 hours up to 24 hrs in the refrigerator
  • Take steak out and let sit at room temperature 15-30 min
  • pre-heat oven to Broil
  • Arrange herbs on wooden platter - set aside
  • take steak out of marinade and dry w/ paper towels. Discard marinade
  • Rub steak w 1 Tbsp oil
  • Broil steak 3-4 inches from heating element 5 min, remove, flip steak and broil an additional 2-3 min
  • Remove steak from broiler pan, place on bed of hers, Tent w/ foil and let rest for 10 min
