Steps:
- 1. Cook rice as directed on packages.
- 2. Brown meat and add taco spice. (I make my own with coriander, cumin, garlic, onion, chili pepper, pepper, salt. ) Pre-pack is fine. Add Rotel tomatoes. Simmer for 4 minutes.
- 3. Spread rice in 9 x 13 dish.
- 4. Top with meat.
- 5. Top with salsa. Any kind is fine; my kids tend to like it with the peach or the sweeter type salsa as the Rotel tomatoes have a bite.
- 6. Top with Ragu cheese sauce.
- 7. Bake for 30 minutes at 350.
- 8. Pull from oven and allow to rest for at least 15 minutes, Get your chips and DIG IN!
