Steps:
- Heat oil in medium skillet; add red peppers and saute over medium high heat for 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and anchovy fillets; saute 2 minutes, stirring to dissolve the anchovies. Add the scallops and saute over high heat until just cooked through, about 3 minutes. Adjust heat so other ingredients don't brown. Meanwhile cook fettuccine in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente, about 10 minutes. Toss with scallop mixture and sprinkle with scallions before serving.
