FESTIVE CHICKEN WITH ASPARAGUS image

Number Of Ingredients 9

3 whole(s) chicken breasts halved
3 tablespoon(s) flour
3 tablespoon(s) oil
1/4 cup(s) dry white wine
1/4 cup(s) blue cheese crumbled
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper
1 pound(s) asparagus snapped and trimmed

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375. Coat chicken breasts with flour. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook chicken in hot oil until lightly browned. In a large casserole dish, mix wine, blue cheese, soup, salt, and pepper. Arrange chicken in soup mixture and spoon mixture over chicken to coat it. Bake for 30 minutes. Arrange prepared asparagus between chicken pieces. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes longer.
