FEATHERLIGHT RICE BREAD image

Number Of Ingredients 17

Dry ingredients
6 cups featherlight rice flour mix
4-1/2 t Xantham gum
3 t unflavoured gelatin
3 t Egg Replacer
1-1/2 t salt
6 T sugar
2/3 cup dry milk powder or non-dairy substitute such as ground almond
4-1/2 t quick acting yeast
3 T ground Quinoa
Wet ingredients
2 eggs
1/2 cup packaged eggs whites (egg beaters)
1/2 cup + 1 T melter butter or margarine
1-1/2 t vinegar
2 T honey
3 cups warm water

Steps:

  • Grease 2 bread pans and dust with rice flour. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. In a separate bowl (Cuisinart) mix the wet ingredients. In a mixer (Cuisinart) at low speed mix the wet ingredients and slowly add the dry ingredients. Once all the ingredients are added, turn to high and beat for 3 minutes. The consistency should be like cake batter. Pour into the two bread pans and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes until the dough reaches the top of the pan. Bake in a preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, covering with tinfoil after 10 minutes.
