FARFALLE WITH WALNUTS AND LEMON ZEST image

.6 of a lb farfalle
1/6 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 TB of lemon zest
1 TB cognac

Steps:

  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add farfalle and cook until al dente. In the top pan of a double boiler placed over simmering water melt butter. Stir in walnuts, zest, and cognac. Keep warm over low heat. Drain pasta and toss with sauce on a warm serving platter. Season with salt and pepper.
