A true comfort casserole kicked up with white wine and mushrooms. Found this in a thrift store box of hand-written recipes. 30 minutes of cooking time is oven time.

Steps:
- Cut chicken in pieces and boil until done. Remove and bone the chicken; set aside. Bring the chicken broth to a boil.
- Break spaghetti in half and cook until al dente in the boiling broth. Reserve a cup of the chicken broth, then drain the spaghetti. Set aside.
- Make the sauce: In a large saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of the butter. Add flour and cook until bubby, plus one more minute. Add the cream and the reserved cup of chicken broth. Stir until thickened.
- Add the mayonnaise, sour cream, parmesan, lemon juice, wine, and the seasonings. Stir until incorporated.
- In a separate pan, saute the mushrooms in the remaining 4 tablespoons butter.
- In the large saucepan (or a large bowl, if not big enough), add the sauteed mushrooms, cooked chicken, and spaghetti. Gently combine until everything is coated. Pour into a 3 quart casserole (or a 9x13 baking pan). Sprinkle with paprika and additional freshly grated parmesan on top. Bake for 30 minutes.
