ESCABECHE SAUCE (DAISY) image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 c olive oil
3 med onions, sliced
1 c. alcaparrado
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. white vinegar
1 T black peppercorns
4 bay leaves
5 cloves garlic
1/2 t salt

Steps:

  • Sautee onions until wilted and crisp-tender. Add remaining ingredients & cook over med heat 5 minutes. Cool, store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
