English toffee is one of my favorite candies! This recipe is super easy.. Who knew? Enjoy

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 lb margarine
1 lb brown sugar
1 pkg chocolate chips, 12 oz.
2 c assorted nuts, chopped

Steps:

  • 1. Melt margarine and brown sugar in a large skillet. Bring to a rolling boil and boil for 12-15 minutes.
  • 2. Pour into a high-sided baking pan and sprinkle on chocolate chips immediately and spread with knife evenly. Sprinkle assorted nuts over top.
  • 3. Cool and break apart.
