Egg and Hash Brown Pie Recipe image

6 slices bacon
6 units eggs
0.5 cups milk
20 ounces hash browns
2 cups cheddar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 7x11 inch casserole dish. Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, beat together eggs and milk. Stir in hash browns, bacon and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Pour into prepared casserole dish.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 35 minutes, or until egg is set in the middle. Sprinkle the reserved cup of shredded cheese on top and continue baking for 3 to 4 minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes, the slice and serve.
