Easy Vegetarian Sandwich image

It really a very simple sandwich that is very healthy. It's so yummy even the carnivores will enjoy it.

1 tablespoon almond butter, or to taste
2 slices whole-grain bread
½ Granny Smith apple, cored and thinly sliced
¼ cup shredded carrots
¼ cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Spread almond butter onto 1 side of each bread slice. Arrange apples neatly over almond butter on 1 slice of bread; top with carrots and Cheddar cheese. Place second piece of bread on top to make a sandwich.
