Easy Swiss Steak image

Number Of Ingredients 7

Vegetable oil
1 large round steak (cut in small serving pieces)
1/2 cup flour
Salt
2 cups water
1 small onion, chopped
1 can tomato soup

Steps:

  • In electric skillet, add oil. Roll steak pieces in flour and salt. Brown on both sides in skillet. Remove steak and set aside. Do not remove oil, unless you have a lot leftover (this seasons it).
  • Pour in 2 cups water, onion & tomato soup (mixing well). Add steak.
  • Simmer on low about 1 hr, or until meat is tender.
