EASY SHIRLEY TEMPLE CUPCAKES
As a child when I was treated to a shirley temple it made me feal like I was a grown up. I actually thought it was an alcoholic drink for kids! I make them all the time for my kids, now to my grandchildren. So when I seen them put in a cupcake I thought ok lets do a semi-homemade version. I had joined wieghtwatchers after giving birth to my son. (gained 60 pounds YIKES) My fav and easy cake recipe was made with a diet soda, this is how I came up with this simple recipe.

Steps:
- mix cake mix w/soda. Put in cupcake lined cupcake pan, bake approx. 15min. Let cool completely.
- Glaze. powdered sugar and 2tlbs (or more depending on how thin You want Your glaze) cherry juice from jar of cherries. Glaze cupcake top w/cherry. I added few drops of red food coloring.
