Easy Sausage Macaroni Supper image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 lb italian sausage, mild
1/4 c green pepper, chopped
1/4 c chopped onion
2 c macaroni, dry
2 c water
1 c evaporated milk
1 c chili sauce
1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Combine sausage, bell pepper and onion in large skillet.
  • 2. Cook over medium-high heat until sausage is no longer pink; drain.
  • 3. Stir in dry pasta and water.
  • 4. Cook stirring occasionally, for 2-3 minutes, or until mixture comes to a boil.
  • 5. Cover; reduce heat to low.
  • 6. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 14-16 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  • 7. Stir in evaporated milk and chili sauce.
  • 8. Remove from heat; sprinkle with cheese.
  • 9. Cover; let stand for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
