Easy Pear Tart image

We always have plenty of pears every year and this is a good way to get your family to eat the delicious pears.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 already prepared pie crust,
3 pears
1 jar(s) pear preserves or jelly
1/4 c butter (optional)
1/4 c powered sugar (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Let pie crust come to room temperature. Turn oven to 350 degrees. Slice the pears and remove core and stems. I do not peel the pears, but be sure to wash well.
  • 2. Place the pie crust on a pizza pan, then add a then layer of preserves, next add a layer of pears and top with rest of preserves.
  • 3. Cook for 25 - 35 minutes. Then top with slices of butter and or powered sugar (optional).
