Easy Oven Stew image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 1/2 pounds beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/3 cup flour
salt and pepper to taste
1 - 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of celery soup
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can beefy mushroom soup
1 1/2 cups water
1 (16-ounce) package frozen stew vegetables
1 (4-ounce) jar whole mushrooms, drained
2 tablespoons dried onion flakes

Steps:

  • Shake beef pieces in seasoned flour, and brown lightly in oil in dutch oven. Stir in soups and water. Next, stir in stew vegetables, mushrooms, and onion flakes. Bake, covered, in 350° oven for 2-2 1/2 hours or until beef and vegetables are tender.
